Make Healthly Choices Every Day

I know this may come as a shock to some of you, but I haven’t always been truly crazy about my health.  I didn’t just wake up and go from being an overweight smoker to pretty much a raw vegan.  It was a process!  Making my health my #1 priority was the first step in my journey.  My daily routine sets the tone for my success and I rarely take cheat days.  The thing about cheat days, at lease for me anyway, is they turn into cheat weekends, then a cheat week. I was only cheating my health and myself.

​Here is a sampling of just how crazy I am about being healthy and inspiring you all to be healthy too!

​I drink at least one green juice a day. Kris’s Daily Greens:  Romaine, Spinach, Parsley, Cucumber, Green Apple, Celery, Lemon, Lime, Mint and Ginger

 I eat healthy (and always buy Organic, Non-GMO).  I know you are wondering…where’s the beef?  But did you know that sprouts have a high protein content, not to mention the highest concentration of nutrition per calorie of any food?
 




My lunch each day consists of half a cucumber, one avocado, cherry tomatoes, various sprouts, olive oil, Himalayan salt and jalapeno pepper sauce.

I run, read, learn, sweat, and watch out for ghosts in the basement at WON.  Exercise, in my opinion, is the most important thing you can do for your health.

I take another handful of pills!  I am not quite to the level of Terry Lemerond, but I am well on my way (he takes 150 supplements per day).

One of the best parts of my day is taking several walks with these three precious dogs.  Some people think to lose weight and be healthy you have to do tons of cardio and starve yourself.  Not true!  You can walk the pounds off. 
 

 





​I take a TON of pictures!  Pictures of food, pictures of dogs, sunrises, sunsets.  It captures a memory and reminds me to not take life so seriously!

Wow! I just read the article in Vitamin Retailer which made me look at your web site.
What a fantastic store, I wish I lived closer to visit and shop and meet your dogs!
Keep up the good work, you make people in the indusrty proud.
